The Role
We are looking for a reliable and professional HGV Driver to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while representing the company to the highest standards.

This role requires excellent time management, strong road awareness, and a customer-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV vehicles in line with UK road laws and company procedures
• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections efficiently
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
• Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and digital records
• Communicate effectively with transport planners and customers
• Follow all health & safety and compliance procedures
• Keep vehicles clean and presentable at all times

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
• Valid CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous HGV driving experience preferred
• Strong understanding of driver hours and transport regulations
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

Desirable

• ADR certification
• Experience with palletised distribution or general haulage
• Flexible approach to working hours and routes
